Next time you're in Golden, make a stop at Backcountry Pizza for their spicy, delicious wings and their pizza! The service is usually quick- both times I've eaten here, our order has taken less than 25 minutes. There is optional outdoor seating and you can have your dog with, which I appreciate when traveling with my little companion. The ambiance is busy but not loud.
I came in with Two friends on a busy Saturday (6 July 24) on an unexpected trip to help SAR in the nearby Brainard Lake area... anyway, we stumbled in for beers to relax from a stressful day and we all tried the wings. The food was amazing. Service was very polite even when we changed our order 2x and we weren't really ready when we got to the register so I'm sure that was frustrating to the bartender but he never let on and the beers were poured immediately with maybe 15 minutes wait for wings... the best damn wings yall!! I can't comment on anything else but the cute fells working every angle of the place and amazing blue cheese and veggies too! I want to drive 100 miles back to Ned just for these wings Thanks for not treating us like tourists... living in Buena Vista, I know how much the 4th weekend was overwhelming for many small businesses. You guys handled it with grace from my perspective.
